Founded in 2010 by choreographer and Artistic Director Tom Dale, Tom Dale Company is where dance meets digital art. We’re an innovative team of creatives known for our experimental approach – and we wanted to introduce some of the key faces in our close-knit team.

In November and Decemeber, TDC visited BD is LIT in Bradford, Light Up Lancaster, Light Night Wigan and Barnsley Bright Nights. This trip was about forging new relationships and understanding the context for movement-based work in UK light festivals.

On a warm September evening, as dusk wrapped itself around the University of Nottingham’s Kings Meadow Campus, guests gathered for a special evening with Tom Dale Company - a celebration of creative innovation, movement, and digital imagination.

This year at Derby Festé, audiences stepped into the future of dance with us through SURGE VR: a cutting-edge immersive experience we were thrilled to bring to the festival.

We’re thrilled to reveal the new animated version of our logo, brought to life by the brilliant London based video production team at Two Fresh. Their creative flair and technical expertise captured the spirit and movement of our company beautifully, translating our identity into stunning motion design.

To celebrate SUB:VERSION, we sat down with Tom to reflect on the evolution of electronic music in dance, explore his creative process, and discuss the experience of touring SUB:VERSION.
