digitopia

in partnership with MOKO Dance, we present a dancing digital wonderland.

Digitopia’s visually stunning integration of live dance and digital technology creates a world that defies the usual rules of gravity and physics, where straight lines curve and sound is seen.

Suitable for 5 to 12 year olds and their families.

Dotty’s friend Hex is a simple two-dimensional line. He can make angles and the most he can make is six. His favourite shape is a hexagon. He’s happy with this, but one day he really wants to make a curve. With a lot of effort he learns to bend, then multiply, and suddenly he can create all kinds of shapes, eventually popping into three dimensions, discovering he can turn into anything he wants to.

Join Dotty and Hex in this fantastical wonderland for a rollercoaster ride of digital surprises.

Performance running time: approximately 50 minutes, followed by a 30 minute ‘Stay & Play’ session on stage, exploring dance and technology. Suitable for 5-10 year olds.
